Asset Liability Management (ALM), gathers information from various databases on SQL Server and forms a central repository of data. Additional data such as the average monthly balance and the Interest rates. Maturity dates are computed by the system based on the mappings provided by the user. The data from the central repository could be either be exported to a third party software from Sendero to analyze the Investcorp Balance Sheet or Balance sheet reports be generated and mailed to top management. The project involved designing the database, after studying the other financial databases of the bank and gathering user specific requirements. GUI interfaces for mapping and importing data, control and audit reports and exporting data to .csv or .txt files were developed. An elaborate system plan and user acceptance plan with acceptance from the client was obtained.

Travel & Business Development is a system which allows the employees to fill in their expense reports and send it to the Financial Controls department from their own computer. Another enhancement to the system was the AMEX card transactions which was sent by AMEX to the bank. AMEX transaction details were imported into the system and the transactions were matched with the expense reports send in by the employees. After studying the database design and the system as a whole, a system plan and acceptance plan was made and tested. User training was carried out and the system was implemented within one month.

Recover is a loan loss recovery package aimed at easing the process of recovery of loans for both client and lending party. It boasts of user definable transaction codes through which the entire process of recovery is automized. Features issual of reminder notices and customized bills, each of which is kept track by the system. Another unique feature of reversing any past transaction without affecting any other transaction already occurred. It allows for both fixed as well as variable type of loans with four different kinds of basis. Ability to calculate accruals and generate bills and reminder notices in mass. Maintains track of the collateral for each loan and allows appraisals for each collateral from time to time. Responsibility involved design of the tables and conversion from Access tables to SQL Server tables. Design of all user interface forms, which would use the generic data entry functions. Developing a test plan for extensive testing of the functionality and speed of the application.
